Create classic needlepoint stand ups with me! In this class I’ll walk you through my own finishing process from sourcing archival materials to final assembly. You will walk away with all the skills to create your own heirloom needlepoint piece.

This class is live and over zoom! You will have access to the recording and will automatically be enrolled in the Online Stand Up Finishing Class when it launches next year.

The class takes place over zoom on November 21 at 10am EST. The class will run approximately 4 hours.

Fabric for your standup

A blank canvas with a drawn template (I find finishing blank canvas to be a nice low pressure way of learning, however feel free to bring a needlepointed piece!)

Archival foam

Curtain weights

Gusset materials

Precut mat board in a classic domed stand up shape

Batting

Other tools you will need for the class that are not included in the class kit (can be purchased separately here):

• Cutting knife and blade (also sold separately here)
• Thread for sewing and lacing
• A sharp needle
• Tapestry needle
• Glue
• Pins

Please note: if you don’t have the tools listed in the optional tool kit, either purchase them with the class or source them elsewhere. You will need these tools to participate in the class.
