How to Paint a Canvas From a Chart!

I’ll share my own process along with tips and tricks. This is a wonderful way to create your own needlepoint, utilizing thousands of darling and affordable designs!

We’ll be painting my Chinoiserie Monogram E-pattern.

 What should you bring?

• White, dark blue, medium blue, and light blue craft paint

I will be using:

• Americana Craft Paint - Titanium White DA01
• Americana Craft Paint -  Blue Harbor DA283
• Americana Craft Paint - Baby Blue DA042
• Folk Art Craft Paint - Navy Blue 403

• An 8 x 8 inch piece of 18 count canvas
• A small size 10/0 spotter paint brush (or something similar)
• A paper plate and paper towels
• Artist or masking tape 
• A charted design of your choice (I'll be painting my Chinoiserie Monogram E-Pattern)
• A cup of water 
• Pencil
• A light colored ultra fine point sharpie (optional)
